November 8, 2019

Greenville, SC – Gordian, the leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software and expertise, announced today an increased commitment to public service officials, government agencies and school districts with executive-level promotions. With long-tenured Gordian employees and industry veterans stepping into key leadership roles, their support for the State and Local Government and K-12 education (SLED) space is stronger than ever.

Gordian has promoted Dan Cook to Vice President/General Manager of SLED. Dan has over 20 years of Job Order Contracting (JOC) experience and a deep understanding of how Gordian solutions benefit the market. In this role, he will oversee the SLED Sales and Procurement Operations teams, guiding them to provide successful JOC implementations for hundreds of communities across the nation. Further, he will lead solution advancements tailored to market needs.

Alyssa Chapman will lead SLED Sales as Vice President, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales leadership in enterprise technology and information services.

The Procurement Operations teams are responsible for delivering high-quality procurement and construction services to Gordian clients across the United States. Gordian veterans and industry experts Sophia Jang and Dwayne Pierre-Antoine have been promoted to join Dave Velarde in leading these teams. Each of these three leaders is dedicated to their communities and lives within the areas they serve — Dave leading the western markets, Dwayne the central/south regions and Sophia in charge of the northeast.

“The need for turnkey facility and infrastructure solutions is more obvious than ever,” said William L. Pollak, Gordian’s President. “We have built an all-star team to help build, support and maintain the communities in which we live and we’re committed to continuously improving our service to the SLED space.”
