Gordian Receives NJPA Legacy Award at 2017 H2O Vendor Forum

June 21, 2017

Greenville, SC – Gordian, the leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software and expertise, announced today it is the recipient of the 2017 National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) Legacy Award. NJPA establishes and provides competitively solicited purchasing contracts for government and education agencies.

Presented June 7 during the 10th annual H2O Vendor Forum in Brainerd, Minnesota, the NJPA Legacy Award recognizes a vendor that exemplifies commitment, innovation and persistence to create uncharted business concepts.

Since 2007, Gordian has partnered with NJPA to improve business efficiency for members through a unique and streamlined bidding and contracting process for construction called ezIQC®. The framework was designed to ensure the employment of local contractors and businesses in the process.

Mike Hajek, NJPA Director of Strategic Initiatives said, “Gordian is a pioneer of business innovation, driven by its keen instincts of visionary leadership and exceptional execution. NJPA government and education member agencies are now much more efficient in their procurement processes and how they facilitate construction projects.”

“For 10 years NJPA has been one of our most vital business partners. Through teamwork, we carefully developed the ezIQC solution and duplicated the unique contracting process across the country, providing hundreds of NJPA members with the most streamlined and efficient construction procurement process available,” said William Pollak, CEO.

ezIQC establishes local, competitively-bid prices upfront and eliminates the need to bid each project separately. When public agencies need repairs, renovations, upgrades or even new construction underway quickly, ezIQC provides immediate access to these competitively awarded, local contractors. By taking advantage of the cooperative’s volume discounts through the existing contracts, NJPA members eliminate the time and expense of traditional procurement while gaining speed, efficiency and the power of group buying. Gordian’s team of industry experts guide members through each step of the ezIQC process, providing oversight to ensure cost and timing efficiencies are maximized right from the start.

“We are extremely proud to receive the NJPA Legacy Award based on our business innovation and exemplary service to NJPA members,” continued Pollak. “We look forward to continued collaboration, partnership and success with NJPA for many years to come.”

NJPA members benefit from faster and more efficient construction procurement process, and ezIQC’s streamlined approach has had a nationwide impact on taxpayer savings by stimulating local economies and business climates.
