eGordian® Honored For Pioneering Use of Construction Data

Design and estimating professionals are new users or consumers of construction data prices found on eGordian.com.
According to InfoCommerce's Founder & Managing Director, Russell Perkins, eGordian is an outstanding example of how an existing database built for one business objective can be re-purposed to create an entirely new product serving new markets and customers. Pricing and other construction task data are derived from The Gordian Group's Job Order Contracting construction-procurement system.
"With eGordian, Gordian Group has taken its national database of construction cost data and married it to a national database of contractors, suppliers, design professionals and others," Perkins said. "It will become a central industry resource as it builds out community-driven features that let users provide feedback on various materials and suppliers, offer advice, share plans and designs, suggest industry methods and use tools developed through partnerships with other companies."
