Capital Project Planning and Implementation in the Post COVID Environment

COVID-19 has challenged capabilities and exposed vulnerabilities of all business units across the educational landscape like no other time in recent memory. As the calendar turns to a new year, facilities leaders on higher ed and K-12 campuses face a tsunami of unknowns.

Here is what they do know as 2020 comes to a close: An accelerated pace of change and the emergence of new pedagogical expectations are amplifying the demands on facilities leadership to stabilize priorities, create adaptable capital plans and mobilize on decisions quickly. In the current normal, capital planning and project implementation will require flexibility, decisive action and a streamlined process.

As we look toward an uncertain future, a panel of school facilities leaders will discuss:
