The Gordian Group Marks First Anniversary of Acquisition of RSMeans

Greenville, S.C. — The Gordian Group, a leading provider of construction cost analytics and estimating information, pricing data and procurement software, marked the first anniversary of its acquisition of RSMeans by recapping its investments in product development and staffing.

RSMeans is North America’s leading supplier of construction cost information for contractors, architects, engineers, facility managers and designers used in facility and infrastructure construction planning, budgeting and life cycle cost management. Since its acquisition in July 2014, The Gordian Group has made numerous enhancements to the data and technology that deliver industry-leading cost estimating solutions, in both digital and print formats.

RSMeans’ first year as part of The Gordian Group saw significant upgrades to its flagship offering, RSMeans Online, bringing a number of enhancements and new functions to the online estimating software. Specific updates included improved features for collaboration, dynamic assembly and square-foot cost-modeling, as well as the ability to save modified assemblies for future use. RSMeans Online is the fastest and easiest method for contractors, facility owners and managers, architects and engineers to access accurate, dependable and up-to-date construction cost data.

“The investments in our products position RSMeans to better serve the dynamic needs of the variety of stakeholders in the construction lifecycle,” said Anderson.

Investments have not been limited to technology and data behind RSMeans’ products. Gordian has expanded its staff, also, increasing resources in engineering, product development, customer support, marketing and sales collectively by 20% in the past 12 months.
