Gordian Achieves FedRAMP “In Process” Certification Milestone with FEMA Sponsorship

Greenville, S.C. – Gordian, the leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software and expertise, announced today its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certification is “in process.” Under the sponsorship of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the “in process” status of Gordian’s application represents a major milestone in delivering Gordian Federal Cloud to the market.

FedRAMP is a United States government-wide program, providing a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud-based products and services. All FedRAMP Certified products go through a rigorous process, including initial and ongoing security assessments and authorizations. FedRAMP Certification is part of Gordian’s commitment to its customers in the federal government who require a highly-regulated, secure environment for cloud-based software.

Gordian Federal Cloud, the application in process for FedRAMP certification, is an enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) solution powered by RSMeans data. The first module made available will be RSMeans Data Online, providing instant access to North America’s leading construction cost database featuring material, labor and equipment prices that can be localized to more than 970 locations.

Once certified, Gordian Federal Cloud’s RSMeans Data Online will be the first and only construction cost estimating platform approved by the FedRAMP Program Management Office for federal use.
